@NHL Bill Daly just said on @Sportsnet. Cause the ref called it a goal on the ice they needed evidence that the puck didn’t cross the line.So now they need to ask the ref how/when he seen the puck cross the line to call it a goal.said everyone makes mistakes 🤔

Trent Frederic was unanimously seen as having a resurgence post-Olympic break. He, Samanski and Dach were absolutely cooking down the stretch. Frederic averaged 13:30+ TOI in the final 7 games of the season. In the playoffs, Frederic has yet to play 10 minutes in a game.

The good news is that the NHL will make the officiating crew and/or supervisor available to a pool reporter to answer questions after the game, same as all the other pro sports leagues. Oh, wait...no, they absolutely will not.

So is the @NHL going to do what the @NLL did with their refs from a playoff game? This group of refs shouldn’t see another playoff game.

It seems very odd to see this because no one & no thing is bigger than God himself? @truttan7 @EJHradek_NHL Because I want to watch skilled, fast hockey. Not a team with zero chance just mucking it up, and watching nhl refs completely losing control of a game

The league is going to have to use video to sort out penalties in these wild scrums. Too much stuff goes un-penalized. Impossible for the on ice officials to see it all.

@EJHradek_NHL Or, penalize everyone in an after the whistle scrum, every time. This game isn’t enjoyable to watch. And to be honest I think the reffing in every series has been horrible (I’ve watched every game so far). It’s usually the best 2 weeks in sports…not this year
