In and of itself, this met the criteria for a flagrant 2. I'd have made it a flagrant 1 due to these mitigating circumstances. Refs totally blew it.

Part of the issue there is that Victor got fouled twice, including McDaniels grabbing his other arm with 2 hands. And so when guys get beat up like that, they respond physically as well. Doesn't excuse the elbow, but could have been avoided by calling the first 2.

If the Wolves had been called for the obvious foul, the elbow wouldn’t have happened. I don’t get how, as an official, you don’t realize that and just own it. Instead, you land on a Flagrant 2 and ruin the game for everyone watching.

@ElSith_V2 I I haven’t really seen any hate from Spurs fans this series. There’s been arguing from fans about the silly goaltending topic but for the most part both fanbases respect each other’s teams. It’s refreshing watching a game where players aren’t flopping every possession.

@bballbreakdown @PERCSOTAA What your saying is disingenuous. Yes, Wolves will go to a diff lineup end of games so teams can’t just foul Rudy or camp in the lane with a big to stop drives. That said there are 3 more quarters and Rudy’s ELITE defense in those help the Wolves stay in the game to close it out.
