It just doesn't feel great to have the platform itself being the biggest topic of conversation day in and day out. I really hope things get sorted out and improve, but I'm also hopeful for a future where everything isn't controlled by one company and works more like a utility.

I don't think this platform will disappear anytime soon, but with all the recent chaos and questionable reactionary policies, it feels like we're on the far side of the hump of relevance.

So I've been exploring the other site (🐘) a lot over the last week or so and it's been a very interesting journey. There's still a lot of accounts over here that I really enjoy following, but I see what's happening on 🐘 as the future, there's real energy and excitement.
