@ColonnaKyle @matti99661 KY is in deep doo doo. Got frustrated with Cailpari even though he recruited great talent and then rushed around in a huff finding a replacement and ended with Pope. Place needs to be rebuilt from scratch.

@HouseofDukeHL Shot by Mullins was no miracle throw in. That shot was from a pass with 3 seconds left from the senior Karaban who gave it up for the better shot. A shot that was perfect shooting form, not a miracle. Difference between experience and inexperience.

UConn loss wasn't on Cayden. If the pass goes thru, he's celebrated as having elite court vision that leads to an easy dunk & win. That's sports. Missed by an inch & kid hit a miracle shot. Plus, Cayden carried Duke in 1st half & others had key turnovers in final 2 min as well.

There's no good civic argument for the electoral college. It was arguably necessary to ensure the ratification of the Constitution, but it's an anti-democratic device that gives some American citizens far more voting power than others, based purely on where they live.

@PF1799 UConn has massive NIL. Danny could get any center he wanted. He chose Hines. Again, character.

🚨 IMPORTANT PANTILONES OPINION 🚨 I am still digesting the Hines to UConn transfer, and it really leaves an awful taste in my mouth for many reasons. It has also permanently changed my opinion towards the UConn program. Let me explain:

@13Rossi13 @HallHoopsHQ @GoodmanHoops Poaching from the conference doesn’t make the conference better. Just facts. UConn isn’t doing anything that’s not in the rules, but you can’t complain about needing to make the conference better and then be the team that poaches from those schools for your benefit

Na'Jai Hines’ commitment to UConn puts him in early 2027 lottery conversations The Seton Hall transfer is coming off an incredible season and now steps into a system that should maximize his trajectory 🧵

@IsaiahScouting @UConnMBB It does NOT put him in lottery "conversations" as if people are sitting around Starbucks talking about his future. Great potential, will be a 2 year player.

@jagjustaguy111 At uconn he will no longer be an "ok" player. He will develop at his full potential. It's what the Huskies do.

On another note I’m not upset that Khamenia is leaving Duke, he was an “okay” player at best and a tweener with a lack of athleticism and I think it’s absolutely the best thing for Duke because his spot will go to a better player. It just sucks he picked UConn.

I have complete faith in Ed Cooley to go get some guys in the transfer portal. With that being said as well: DePaul, Xavier, Creighton, Providence (most of the bottom of the conference) ALL ARE GETTING GUYS IN THE PORTAL. They are massively improving. Can we?

I wanna expand on Donnie Freeman, and my opinion of his game, and fit with Kentucky at PF. Undeniably versatile, now 6’10, 220lb, he’s got really tight handles for a big, he’s got a quick first step with either hand, good passer, capable shooter, Donnie is everything Coach Pope could seemingly want in the main guy who will be at the point, of getting back to the zoom offense. THAT would be my pitch to Donnie. Show him the Amari Williams Film, tell him you’ll be in these kinds of positions where the ball is in your hands most in the halfcourt, making high level reads/passes, etc. what makes him even more advanced is his ability to take guys off the dribble, his shooting ability mid range/3P, that’s exactly what Kentucky needs next to Malachi Moreno. Alabama is said to be involved, and met with him yesterday. I think the BG signing (which wasn’t cheap) MAY be a little bit of a “pivot” from Donnie’ they certainly can’t offer as much as Kentucky. UConn is interesting, they’re awaiting NBA/Return decisions from 3 Guards, they need a starting wing, they need a PF, and they need 2 C’s (in a market where they’re very expensive) UConn has the lowest offer of the 3. His camp apparently likes Hurley/Uconn. Kentucky is hosting Donnie on a visit today, reportedly through Thursday. I don’t think it’s a coincidence Jeff Goodman dropped the “potential” ‘UConn visit on Friday’, just one day before he gets on Kentucky’s campus. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was agent tactics, to publicly tell UK Staff, “let’s get this done while he’s on campus” Kentucky has the highest offer to Donnie by far. Let’s see if they can lock him up while he’s in Lexington. #BBN #KentuckyBasketball

Dan Hurley on Eric Reibe's decision to enter the transfer portal: "Eric was a soldier and a warrior for us. He saved us in the non-conference. He played great. He's gonna have a great career no matter where he goes. He's one of my favorite guys I've coached."
