I voted for Donald Trump to do Trump things decisive.. America First leadership that puts our country ahead of endless foreign entanglements and bureaucratic nonsense. We didn’t elect him so armchair generals and online commentators could micromanage his every move, nitpick every headline, or demand purity tests from day one. We’re barely into his second year. The man just got back in the saddle after years of lawfare and witch hunts. I still trust the process. Trump has a proven record of delivering results when he’s allowed to operate on his own terms, strong borders, economic revival, putting America first on the world stage. Whether it’s the economy, immigration, or even tough calls on Iran and foreign policy, he sees the big picture better than most. Let him cook. Wars aren’t won by Twitter polls, and real leadership isn’t about pleasing every faction instantly. If you’re already turning on him over every developing situation or demanding instant perfection, ask yourself: did you vote for Trump the fighter, or just the comfortable idea of him? I’m riding with the process. Results over drama. America First means trusting the guy we sent to drain the swamp, not tying his hands because the commentary doesn’t match the ground game.

I’ve never seen such a disconnect between the commentary on this site and what I hear in the real world. I’ve talked to dozens of normal conservatives in real life about the Iran War and I haven’t met a single one who’s actually enthusiastically in favor of it. At best they’re warily optimistic. In most cases they’re opposed. In some cases they’re not only opposed but deeply furious. And yet here if you utter a word of criticism about the war you’ll be shouted down by throngs of alleged American conservatives who allegedly have wanted nothing more than for America to go to war with Iran. It just doesn’t reflect what I see on the ground. That’s not just cope because my position is unpopular with “my side.” I’ve held plenty of unpopular positions. I really don’t care. But in this case the social media vs real world divide is stark and unlike anything I’ve seen before.

There are a ton of people who would genuinely love marathon who aren’t playing it. It’s the only FPS MP game that’s grabbed me in many years and offers something actually unique in the space. I hope more people give it a try, it’s a fantastic game

One of 2 things just happened: Trump either changed his mind, or Iran is folding to the pressure Her's what just went down: - Trump set an ultimatum for Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz, or he will strike their energy infrastructure - That deadline was meant to expire tomorrow morning - Iran responded defiantly and threatened to strike energy infrastructure in the region - Trump claimed negotiations went on behind the scenes, and he extended his deadline by 5 days - The Iranians claim there were no negotiations, and this is just Trump walking back his threats Either way, this is good news Either Trump exerted maximum pressure to force Iran into concessions Or Iran’s defiance and military capabilities forced Trump to walk back his threat If it’s the latter, I hope Iran does not call him out and mock him, as this will only fuel Trump to escalate again Does this all mean the war may still go on for months? Yes, but this is unlikely because: - The global economy is taking a massive hit (especially Europe and Asia) - The Gulf is pissed - American allies in Asia and Europe are also upset - Voters aren’t happy - And munition stockpiles are running low
