Written this is in more depth in other places, but this was always the plan. When they made the KAT trade, it was with a four-year window in mind. First two years: stay below the second apron. Second two years: blow past it, spend like a drunken sailor. Year 5: reset.

When he realizes he’s the most physically/athletically gifted player on the floor, he’s an absurd player in this modern era.
Even in the early 2010s, it felt like teams all started games with five guys that could create at end of clock. OG is like if Luol Deng had star equity

You can't take OG Anunoby for granted. He's averaging 20.8 PPG & 8.8 RPG on 70.1% TS with 2.6 "stocks" with incredible defense in this series. He's arguably been the Knicks' best player in this series so far. Either him or KAT.
