I’m so excited to join @drewwilson to help build @OpacityHQ! Not only has it been a dream of mine to build next to Drew for the past 15 years, but the product he’s building is something I’ve needed throughout all phases of my design/engineer career. It’s an honor to be part of the team who will build and ship this over the coming months. It’s an honor to build with friends again! @NotoriousUSB

It’s actually crazy how much software we’ve all tried to learn this past year. No wonder everyone feels burnt out. We went from mastering a few tools…to chasing every new one that drops everyday! Your brain can’t process that level of input without fatigue. This isn’t a motivation problem! We’re being overloaded with too much information.

@rileyj_s @krispuckett 100%. i also agree there's always something lost going animation>live action. impossible to capture fully.

@rileyj_s @krispuckett it's one part keeping the fandom flywheel going, which directly plays into the most-profitable part of the business: the parks. the other part is if a studio doesn’t produce anything within a certain timeframe, they can lose or have to renegotiate their rights.

@krispuckett Maybe I’m old and these are for an audience who have never seen the originals. But these live action remakes are not interesting and are tiring. Disney is more creative than this.

Industrial Light & Magic
50 years ago on March 22, 1976, Star Wars began filming in Tunisia. Among the shots captured were the first attempts at Luke Skywalker's view of the iconic twin sunset. Although that first day's sunset shots were not ultimately used, they marked the first live action plate photography ever captured for Industrial Light & Magic, who would be tasked with adding the suns to the background. ILM was less than a year old that spring of '76, and were busily preparing their visual effects pipeline at their Van Nuys, California studio. Read more here: starwars.com/news/star-wars…

Hoppers was phenomenal. Kids clapped at the end. Laughs, gasps, and tons of fun. A tear rolled down my cheek as the final image faded to black. Bravo @threebarebears and all involved. 🦫🦫🪵🥔❤️

@willlenzen yikes! usually these chairs require you to already know how to sit properly or else they can cause a lot of pain. The aeron especially is unforgiving, you either sit with a perfect posture or it'll fuck you up, I hate it.

Both of these chairs are mediocre for different reasons: Aeron: 90s idea of ergonomy, rigid frame, bad bad adjustability Embody: Horrible sacral support that digs into your lower back, arms can't be depth adjusted. If they work for your body its great but if not they're a nightmare. Steelcase Leap clears both.
