The image on the left is the moon taken from Artemis 2 when it was halfway to the moon. The image on the right is the moon as seen from "Earth"—it's ten times larger than in the left image—at a distance 50% shorter. Hahaha, at least the fake version makes some sense.

@BrianEastwoodx This is the original, they edited the image to farm comments i guess cuz it doesnt make any sense.

Can the photographers in the room explain to me how the sun is behind the earth in the photo but the dark side that is this image is somehow very well lit. This doesn’t make sense. You can clearly tell the sun is just over the horizon on the bottom right of the earth in this photo.

@LangmanVince The one on the right is at night with the sun behind the earth shot at 51,200 ISO.

The one on the left was from Apollo 17 in 1972. The one on the right is from Artemis II in 2026. How is it possible that the one taken over 50 years ago looks better?
