Zero is a programming language for agents. Zero: Native is a WebKit Desktop Framework (not native) with a backend in Zig (not Zero) which is famously anti agentic. I know naming is hard but Vercel, please, I’m begging you.
Chris Tate@ctatedev

Introducing Zero The programming language for agents. I wanted a systems language that was faster, smaller, and easier for agents to use and repair. Explicit capabilities. JSON diagnostics. Typed safe fixes. Made for agents on day zero.

@dreamsofcode_io It took me 6 months to name Ultraviolet. i have a literal document with hundreds of options. Naming stuff is either instantaneous or grueling, with nothing in between. ultraviolet-lang.org

@dreamsofcode_io I wouldn't worry about at all. That language is not going to get adopted lol. The guy at Vercel made it in 3 days. I said this somewhere else, its like he completed a tutorial on compilers and decided to make an announcement about a new lang. Its an unproven toy.

@dreamsofcode_io I guess they wanted to name it after the value this new "language" adds to the world. I so want the bubble to pop.
