@dreamsofcode_io We're really about to come full circle and discover that apps can be small and fast as well.

I want to build a rust native version of @ghostex_dev (Ghostty based Codex App clone) for Windows Linux and Mac but gpui doesn't have a good cef browser integration which I really need. I'm leaning to just do electron for Linux/window and stay Swift on macOS because of this (in pulling out all the non ui logic to a rust shared server, then clients will all just be for showing ui). Any thoughts?

@dreamsofcode_io Indeed it is. I tried a frameworks and ended up on iced. First MVU was a bit weird and now I want to use it for everything. The framework is evolved and is advanced enough to quickly spin up without losing flexibility. We should definitely go back to desktop

@dreamsofcode_io I've been making some things with @slint_ui, and it's really good. Had tried gpui and iced before but slint is much easier to work with.
