@DanCollins2011 If confirmed later on in may/june, this is going to mean a recession for Europe
English

@DanCollins2011 Just switch to prop planes. Problem solved.
English

@DanCollins2011 @grok what share of easyjet and Ryanair fuel is hedged for Q1 2026?
English

@DanCollins2011 And that's before another downturn in the dollar.
English

@DanCollins2011 @TicTocTick Just booked seats to Europe on BA
$2000 cheaper than Air Canada
English

@DanCollins2011 Of course this happens right before peak travel season 😂
English

@DanCollins2011 Once again I beg people to actually do 1 second of research before they make these posts. what percentage of the ticket price is fuel cost? Give me a guess before you look. Now look - were you right?

English

@DanCollins2011 Kiss the world cup football goodbye.
Will be one of the saddest editions of recent times!
English

@DanCollins2011 It's alright. € weakening versus the $ & Americans still willing to be spending a few weeks in 🇪🇺 in order to see if maybe they wouldn't like to come & live here. 💅
English

@DanCollins2011 @MalcontentmentT Bought my tickets before the invasion.
English

@DanCollins2011 50% plus of European summer travel is conducted by car or train
English

@DanCollins2011 Good, all totally unnecessary trips anywhere. Visit Bridlington.
English

@DanCollins2011 'Soaring' airline tickets would 'drive' gasoline demand this summer/vacation season (I'll see myself out)
English

@DanCollins2011 @DaveKeating Good news for people that already bought their tickets though. Bad news for people leaving it late.
English

@DanCollins2011 @MazMHussain Europe has a good rail Infrastructure that runs on electricity.
English

@DanCollins2011 Conveniently fits with agenda 2030, although I’m sure that’s just coincidence…
English

@DanCollins2011 Allready booked months ago with the feeling it will be the last time 🥲
English

@DanCollins2011 How do? Even if airplane tickets triple in price it’s still very cheap and there is also trains , ships and worse case scenario bus or cars . European summer is very much here to stay
English

@DanCollins2011 US jet fuel price. U.S. Spot Prices: The average price for a gallon of jet fuel in the U.S. reached $3.99 March 13, up from $2.50 just two weeks prior. That is a 60% increase in a 14-day window.
The U.S. West Coast is being hit hardest. In LA jet fuel prices jumped to $4.32.
English

@DanCollins2011 @Frances_Coppola This is great news since the free people have not seriously curbed fossil energy use
English

@DanCollins2011 That’s good news!
Most people already bought their flight
Planning long trips to Europe with money
Rich don’t care.
Euro rich would stay closer
We are in 30% for the beginning of the season and summer looking promising..
Star coming to fill my pocket with tips, thanks
English

@DanCollins2011 Great news , finally we can spend the summer without those overseas tourists
English

@DanCollins2011 LOL most people will have bought summer holiday flights months ago!
English

@DanCollins2011 We have trains and cars. I will use my electric car probably this summer to visit neighbouring countries. Europe fortunately is not so big. Best regards from Poland!
English

@DanCollins2011 Jet fuel only equates to about 20% of the ticket cost. So its probably only an extra 16% to the flight price
And then there will be less people for hotels, so the hotel price will drop anyway
English

@DanCollins2011 Have been saving for a Japan revisit for my 30th birthday next year.
Guess I will just invest in something more tangible and final.
English

@DanCollins2011 Good, all the broke people can stay away.
English

@DanCollins2011 Less jets = better air quality = less clouds = more sun = holiday from your own country.
English

@DanCollins2011 Most airlines hedge their prices for the year around January
