To all the wonderful Canadians showing support, you very much remind me of the Canada I once grew up in. This is the Canada I’d love to see blossom again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. With love from Mexico. ❤️ And to @PierrePoilievre thank you for your support, I look forward to the day you are able to implement the changes needed to bring us home.

I’ve resigned from the Labour Party. The stupidity of Labour MPs is matched only by their disloyalty and lack of integrity. I have voted for them since 1974. Never again!

I don't know what to do with my grief about the backstabbing of @Keir_Starmer & how much it hurts. I really felt safe with him as PM. My outrage is real & justified, but also it's a shield & every now & then the pain breaks through. Life feels worthless in moments like this.

Keir Starmer marketed himself as a human rights lawyer who stood up for the downtrodden. As Britain’s prime minister, he showed nothing but contempt for human rights law, and he now leaves behind a disgraceful record of authoritarian policies. jacobin.com/2026/06/starme…

Starmer with his huge majority could have rebuilt the NHS and radically changed society for the better. Instead he pandered to the right-wing, arrested pensioners for holding signs, appointed a friend of a pedophile and facilitated a genocide in Palestine. This is your legacy.

Ya it was terrible under Harper when Canada had the richest middle class in the world, no chaotic immigration, much lower crime, balanced budget, low inflation, good relations with our largest trading partner, vibrant small biz sector, global respect. Terrible! 🙄
slowmanluis@slowmanluis

@MarcDalton Would be 10X worse under Conservatives who have no clue how to do anything except whine. BTW Canada is not broken. Poilievre and Conservatives are broken.

Canadians: “Inflation crushed us. Interest rates sent our mortgage payments through the roof. Housing became unaffordable.” Carney: “That’s the market.” Vancouver developers: “We’re losing money.” Carney: “Don’t worry. Taxpayers will bail you out.” Canadians: “Wait… so we absorb our losses, but developers get bailed out?” Make it make sense.

The Liberal Carney gov't cries about Food Inflation, demonizes grocers, then adds a 10% surtax on canned vegetables. Those same people most affected, will then vote for more of the same.
CityNews Toronto@CityNewsTO

The Canadian government is slapping a 10 per cent surtax on global imports of canned vegetables in a bid to “protect Canadian industries and strengthen the economy in a rapidly changing global trade environment.” toronto.citynews.ca/2026/06/19/can…

Socializing losses and privatizing profits is not how it's supposed to work. It is surprising the PM, who lived through the global financial crisis, would encourage this moral hazard. But there's more. Rents are falling in many markets. And record supply of rental is coming online. The taxpayer through CMHC is already over exposed to rental. This scheme may put taxpayers at even greater risk of losses. More details are needed and should be scrutinized at a Parliamentary Committee.
John Pasalis@JohnPasalis

Why is our government overpaying for Vancouver condos so Carney’s builder friends can avoid selling for a loss  When thousands of average Canadians have to sell their homes for a loss today Because this government prioritizes Bay Street profits over Canadian households

We’ve had the worst prime minister in history with Keir Starmer, and the worst government ever. Andy Burnham won’t be any better, could he be even worse? We’re going to get socialism on steroids and it’s going to blow this country fully apart.

X has a lot of liberal sheep on here and can defend most anything the Trudeau/ Carney liberals do. but bailing out multi million dollars companies that can’t sell 400 sqft condos for $1 million has all off social media saying enough is enough
