@FrogGodGames The same game revolved around time travel, and as they unraveled the universe they would switch TTRPG systems entirely. It was a pain to translate characters between systems (D20, Scion, Exalted, Dark Heresy, Hunter, etc...) but well worth it to expose the group to new systems.

@FrogGodGames It limited casters from 'magicking' all problems. Classes were capable in their own right and had good skills/skill points. Limitation was they had to use talents and feats to improve casting ability / battery, which refilled only on level up. Crazy powerful spells, though.

@Snarrffer @BENZOTOOIE That's fair, but I have only so many characters. I needed something more biting than Emo-Pop-Group-that-used-to-be-niche-decent. My criteria was "does this band represent music and lyrics I would expect from a group of high schoolers?". Accurate? Meh. Effective? Yes.

You cannot argue with MAGA. They demand evidence, then call your sources biased. You provide primary sources, they claim they're doctored. You show them video, they say it's out of context. You give them context, they say you're cherry-picking. This isn't debate. This is a systematic refusal to allow reality to intrude on mythology. You're not arguing facts. Their music quality has proven over time to be inversely proportional to their political activism, the band began to fall off drastically with Folie and accelerated over time.

@ur_teenagedream @BENZOTOOIE I actually enjoy Cork Tree and Infinity, still listen to them, but FOB was left behind by the major music scene nearly 20 years ago. Grabbing onto a Disney cartoon series was a death rattle; effectively relegating them to a new mode of operation and wiping their legacy away.
