Dear Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, As the season reaches its climax, it is clear that Chelsea Football Club stands at a crucial point in its rebuild. The vision introduced by the ownership group has reshaped the squad into one of the most exciting young teams in Europe. The commitment to investing in elite young talent, infrastructure, and long-term competitiveness shows a clear belief in building something sustainable and dominant. The current Chelsea squad possesses enormous potential. Across the pitch there is pace, technical quality, and hunger. Many of these players could form the core of the club for the next decade. However, as the season has progressed and the pressure of big matches has intensified, one key element has become increasingly clear: The squad needs experience to guide this young generation to real Premier League success. Chelsea currently has one of the youngest teams competing at the highest level. Youth brings energy, bravery, and creativity, but in decisive moments, title races, high-pressure fixtures, and European nights, experience often becomes the difference between competing and winning. Historically, the greatest Chelsea sides combined elite young talent with seasoned leaders. Players who understood how to manage games, handle pressure, and guide teammates through the defining moments of a season. This current team is close to that level. The foundations have been built. What is now required are targeted additions of experienced players who can elevate the squad rather than rebuild it. Three areas in particular could transform Chelsea from a promising project into a genuine title contender: First, an experienced centre-back, a commanding defensive leader who organizes the back line, controls defensive transitions, and brings authority in big matches. A player capable of mentoring the younger defenders while immediately strengthening the team’s defensive stability. Second, a composed and experienced central midfielder, someone who can dictate the rhythm of the game, manage possession under pressure, and control difficult moments when matches become chaotic. Third, a proven, elite striker, a forward who has consistently delivered goals at the highest level. A clinical presence who thrives under pressure and converts the chances that define title races. These additions would not replace the young core that has been assembled. Instead, they would unlock its full potential. Young players develop faster when surrounded by leaders who have already experienced title runs, Champions League nights, and high-stakes football. The right veterans can provide composure, accountability, and tactical intelligence that cannot be developed overnight. Chelsea today has the ingredients of a future champion. With the continued backing of ownership and a strategic approach to adding experience this summer, the club can move from a rebuilding phase into a genuine era of dominance. The gap between a promising young team and a Premier League champion is often small, but it is usually defined by leadership, experience, and the ability to perform in decisive moments. Chelsea is very close. With the right additions, this squad can not only compete for the Premier League title, but bring it back to Stamford Bridge where it belongs. Up the Chels. @ChelseaFC #CFC

The Chelsea team sheet leaks did not come directly from a player; culprit is regarded as external by Liam Rosenior and Chelsea. @kierangill_DM #CFC

On Fernandez, Rosenior said: ‘I had a great conversation with Enzo at length this morning before training. Not just about his comments – just how he was feeling, how as a team we can improve. ‘He's one of the captains of the club. What I would say is that he made it really, really clear to me how happy he is here at this club, how much he wants to win, how passionate he is for us to be successful. He also said that in translation and in emotion, things get misconstrued in what he said. For me, he's fully committed to this group, he's fully committed to winning here.’ @kierangill_DM #CFC

Chelsea are still waiting on the results of a scan to determine the severity of Trevoh Chalobah's injury. There was optimism last night and this morning that it wasn't as bad as feared, but yet to recieve confirmation from a scan @Matt_Law_DT #CFC

If somehow Enzo Fernandez leaves Chelsea for £150m, use that money on Anderson and Rogers. 🤔

Rosenior on Trevoh Chalobah’s injury I think he was really worried. We are hoping and praying it wasn't as bad as we first thought. #CFC

Rosenior on why he made the decision to start Sarr: Mamadou has played in that position for me. He's been magnificent against PSG before. I thought his experience against them would help him. Malo Gusto was down to start the game but he was very ill. We missed Reece. These are decisions we want to get correct. Mamadou made a mistake and it made a difficult night. #CFC

Rosenior on where Chelsea got it all wrong: Football is about flow and momentum. If you give the opposition flow and momentum without having to work too hard, they get more confident. Mamadou is a great young player, you have to ride these moments, we make a mistake and there's nothing tactical. They score a fantastic goal. Barcola then scores from 25 yards. We have to learn to become clinical at this level. #CFC

Rosenior asked about the atmosphere at Stamford Bridge tonight: I think it's two-way. The fans want success instantly and rightfully so for the size of the club. I understand why fans are frustrated, they want us to win. I understood that before I came in. I also want to make them happy and give them the nights they deserve. That was a really difficult one because of the manner we went out this evening. #CFC

Liam Rosenior asked about the latest Enzo Fernandez quotes on his future: I haven't seen that. It's hard for me to speak on speculation after a game. I need to focus on the more important things and getting a result against Everton on Saturday. #CFC

Rosenior on how he seems to have lost his voice: Excuse me, I lost my voice shouting, not at the players after the game but during the game. #CFC

Rosenior on taking Joao Pedro, Palmer and Fernandez off: It's not an admission, it's a reality of where the group are. They've played over 100 games in 18 months, they've had no break. It's not an excuse but you're seeing with Reece and others that if I don't manage their minutes, the likelihood of them getting injured is more likely. I have to make really difficult decisions that at the time maybe don't look great. #CFC

Liam Rosenior on Chelsea’s performance tonight: Six minutes in and another mistake that we make takes the wind out of our sails. The second goal is 25 yards out and in the top corner. When you go five goals down on aggregate, it's a really difficult evening but we wanted to show more fight than we did. #CFC

Luis Enrique on beating Chelsea: If they press us, we can keep the ball and we can attack the space on the counter-attack. We did that from the first minute. #CFC
