Tonight I met a woman who is literally exactly where I am politically. She saw my Abdul button and said, basically, ‘You know what, typically I would have played it safe and voted for the person everyone is saying is more electable, but being more electable hasn’t done a fucking thing for us, so I’m voting for Abdul.’ Yes, I paraphrased her comments, but this is the sentiment she shared with me. This is what the establishment doesn’t understand. People are fucking tired of the same old bullshit that accomplishes absolutely nothing. Michigan followed this rule two years ago and elected a Democratic senator who voted to confirm Kristi Noem. That is why they are voting for Abdul El-Sayed.
