Like.. if someone asks how you made something or for pointers and you are gatekeeping that, then I do think that's pretty scummy. But you are 100% not required to release your scripts if you do not want to.

This is a small probably hot take, but I really don't like the mindset that roblox dev twitter has where everyone is entitled to your work. It's one thing if someone recreates it but I think it's is insane to get angry at someone for not releasing their own work.

@guicheesepull people aren't entitled to your work, it's okay to keep it for yourself.

Remember when Roblox removed the butt off of their woman package when AlbertStuff became super popular, and now UGC like this is uploaded pretty much all the time now.

This is the worst victim of recent Roblox updates. This game was my childhood 💔

For one of our brand new games we just launched I have spent $370 on ads and we only have 70 out of 500, despite having 30k+ visits. The average dev is genuinely cooked 💀

I feel like everyone is misunderstanding the 500 Highly Engaged Player requirement on Roblox games. They don't have to be highly engaged in YOUR game, just 500 players join your game who are highly engaged on the platform in general. To prove they're not bots. I have a game with 9 ccu that already hit the requirement lol, you can easily achieve this with a couple $ in an ad for one day.

Nothing will ever be as good as free publishing, however I do believe this is a worthy cost for the sake of security on the platform.

Regarding the future of Cakebomb: • V4 will be released! Beta testing is planned to happen in the coming months. • Demolition Crew 2 is being shifted to Demotion Crew Remastered after V4. • We have plans to develop games off of Roblox depending on what happens. #Roblox

@Noble_Draconian @Grenroblox yes i love the awesome joint slits and extra parts when going for different style. i love different physics, and having to account for bypassed UGC parts and emotes. i know there are very easy work arounds, but R6 cuts the fat and offers a simple cartoony style.

@Grenroblox You can stylize a game like R6 with R15.

This is an awesome change. As someone that makes games that fully support player avatars, it's always frustrated me to see developers taking the lazy route and using a deprecated rig structure while disabling avatars players have spent money on.
