solo dates hacks every man should try, at least once every year
1. take yourself to the cinema alone. buy popcorn. pick a seat you actually want. laugh, cry if you need to. no one talking to you. just you and the movie.
2. go to a cafe on a weekday. order a drink and a small pastry. sir by the window and face your phone down for a bit. watch people going to work, students rushing, cars passing, birds singing, children playing, just life moving in that pace.
3. book a nice but affordable hotel in your city. pack a small overnight bag like you're traveling. order room service or buy food on the way. take a long cold shower, wear your robe, lie on the bed and do nothing if you want. journal, watch a movie, listen to a relaxing music, sleep in clean white sheets and covers with the ac on.
4. take yourself on a saturday breakfast. wake up early, shower, wear something cute. go somewhere that serves breakfast. sit there, and order something nice. enjoy your meal, take some selfies even if you not photogenic.
5. enjoy yourself man. come on, you deserve it. you need it.
bookmark and share to others
buena suerte 👍

« We have nothing in common with Burundi » Burundi is the only country in the world where you can speak kinyarwanda and still be able to communicate with locals? Sometimes we let our ignorance or simply our carelessness or imprudence dictate our thoughts. Don’t let politics fool you a few years ago Rwanda was on bad terms with Uganda. Burundians aren’t bad neighbours ask people who fled there in 1959s.

I think Rwandans should be aligned with Ugandans and leave out Burundi. We have nothing in common with Burundi. they’re just bad neighbors!
English

@ShelikesMosthig You think its that easy ? Imagine someone told Rwandans to revolt in 1963 or north koreans to revolt rn. You need to burst the political bubble you live in

but you have to watch this video, there's way too much going on in ai at the moment and i'd be lost without theo. i'd been doing literally everything wrong, sigh.
he runs through some interesting papers on how to use your agents md files, skills, context management.
super super useful. watch it now, i've changed my mind, watch it right now. stop watching frame mog videos and watch this at once sir.

You should delete your CLAUDE․md/AGENTS․md file. I have a study to prove it.

Rwanda’s MOU with Anthropic is a landmark move, but from an Afrocentric digital transformation perspective, my eyes are fixed on the Digital and Data Sovereignty layer beneath the headlines. @PaulKagame @CyrilRamaphosa @_AfricanUnion
There is no doubt that the Claude deployment for Rwandan health and education will be beneficial.
However, the real test for Rwanda is how they navigate the Sovereignty Delta, that is, the gap between using a powerful foreign reasoning engine and maintaining absolute control over the nation’s most sensitive data.
Let’s break down the details:
▶️ Health data: Using Claude to tackle cervical cancer and maternal mortality is visionary, but health data is a nation's biological ledger. In our agentic thinking manual, we emphasise that data residency must remain sovereign. Are these APIs being routed through local Rwandan infrastructure, or is the data being exported to fuel a model optimised for the Global North?
▶️ Capacity building vs dependency: Training 2,000 educators and public servants is vital, but the risk is becoming certified consumers of a single vendor’s logic. Sovereignty means ensuring that public sector developers using Claude Code build interoperable systems that don't lead to vendor lock-in.
▶️ The ALX Connection: If Rwanda indeed scales this across eight African countries, it is positioning itself as a regional hub. But the win here must not just be having the AI; it must be owning and controlling the Sovereign Analytics, which is the ability for Rwanda to derive its own strategic formulas for public policy rather than just accepting the output of a pre-conditioned model.
True digital transformation is not about importing intelligence. It is about using imported tools to build a local, sovereign mind.
Through this, Rwanda may likely be leading the continent in digital intent, including my own country, South Africa.
However, their focus must shift to ensuring the agentic protocol remains firmly in the hands of the Rwandan people, not just the model providers.

We've signed an MOU with the Government of Rwanda—the first partnership of its kind in Africa—to bring AI to health, education, and other public sectors.
