I tried to draw it for you lol. Left and right wing have both own gears which is connected to main gear which rotates. They are all mechanically locked together. So if a bird hit the right wing and made its wing move little bit forward then the other wing would move little bit backward to compensate. It automatically does that because they are mechanically synced and locked together.
