I've been coaching for a long time. I've seen hundreds and hundreds of people start. The ones who end up strong and fit aren't the ones with the best genetics or the fanciest programs. They're the ones who didn't stop. They trained when they were tired. They trained when their schedule was chaotic. They trained when they didn't feel like it. They trained through business trips, and sick kids, and holidays, and setbacks. They showed up, over and over, for years. That's the difference. There's no secret exercise, or diet, or trick. There's no optimal rep scheme that unlocks everything. There's just the work, repeated until it becomes part of who you are. You can spend another year searching for the perfect program. You can wait for the perfect time to start. You can keep spinning your wheels: starting and stopping, starting and stopping, never actually getting anywhere. Or you can decide, today, that you're someone who trains no matter what. And start acting like it.
