Incredible morning capturing the Perseid Meteor shower in #Pittsburgh. I saw about a half dozen with the naked eye and captured even more on my camera. Two images here: the first a 470 image star trail composite, and the second one that only shows the meteors. More to come.

A brilliant green-red Perseid #meteor and the Milky Way! This meteor left a visible "smoke" trail that lingered for a few seconds. It was an amazing scene in the skies of rural Illinois & the high clouds added to the drama!
