Illegal Bangladeshi Rabiya Nasir Mulla returned to Mumbai six months after being deported. Six months ago, Mumbai Police had detained Rabiya from Mira Road and deported her to Bangladesh. Now, she has once again been arrested by Mumbai Police from Vile Parle. Two other illegal Bangladeshi nationals, Zulekha Jamal Sheikh and Bilkis Begum Sirmiya Akhtar, who were deported to Bangladesh in August last year, have also returned to South Mumbai. During interrogation, they revealed that they entered India through unfenced jungle areas along the West Bengal border. @amitshah @MamataOfficial

In the 2024 budget, CM Mamata Banerjee allocated ₹150 crore for the EM Bypass–New Town flyover. A 7.1 km flyover from EM Bypass Metropolitan Crossing to Mahishbathan near Panache Apartments, with a total cost of ₹727 crore. It includes 3 entry ramps at Nicco Park, Nalban, and College More, a double-layer crossing over Chingrighata, and a 1.5 km stretch over wetlands with a special design. It was meant to ease traffic significantly. The project was supposed to be completed in 18 months. Two years have passed. Not a single pillar has come up. Not even the first sign of construction on the ground. Where did the ₹150 crore go? Chai Biscuit?

Kolkata has not seen a single new flyover in the last five years. Despite having fewer vehicles than Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi, Kolkata has the slowest traffic in India. While other major cities have moved towards cleaner fuels like CNG, Kolkata’s taxis are still running on diesel. Almost every road in the city, including Salt Lake, is filled with potholes and patchwork. There is no serious road construction happening. And yet, we are told everything is fine. This is not just about traffic or bad roads. This is about lost time, daily frustration, damaged vehicles, and a city that is slowly being pushed backwards. How long will the people of Kolkata accept this neglect? Your vote is not just a choice. It is your voice, your anger, and your hope for a better city. If you stay silent today, you will be stuck in the same broken roads tomorrow.

#DhurandharTheRevenge - REVIEW A GAME-CHANGING, INDUSTRY-SHAKING PHENOMENON. Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 ( 4.5 Stars) #Dhurandhar2 doesn’t just meet expectations,it surpasses them by a HUGE MARGIN. In every aspect, the film turns out to be bigger, better, and far more engaging than Part 1. Style, substance, drama, thrills, and patriotism - this one has it all, and how! Despite its nearly 4 hour runtime, it doesn’t give the audience a single dull moment-you barely get time to blink, screenplay moves like Usain Bolt. This time, the story dives deep into Hamza Ali Mazari’s past, exploring how Jaskreet Singh Rangi transformed into Hamza. This entire backstory is presented brilliantly, training and valor of our agents shown in full glory and detailing. The film is also noticeably more intense and violent than the first part, with extraordinary action sequences, electrifying high moments full of elevations, and goosebump-worthy moments, something that Part 1 lacked. Director #AdityaDhar delivers an exceptional job. Shooting nearly 8 hours of footage and then crafting it seamlessly into two compelling parts is no small feat. His work here makes him a strong contender for not just one, but potentially two National Awards. Talking about performances, #RanveerSingh completely lives his character. Whether as Jaskreet or Hamza, he shines in both shades effortlessly. #RMadhavan is excellent and has more screen time than D1, #ArjunRampal as Major Iqbal is impressive, Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, and the entire supporting cast provide terrific support. Every character leaves a lasting impression. Music once again acts as the film’s second hero, just like in Part 1. Both the songs and background score elevate the impact of the scenes to another level, simply outstanding. Shashwat deserves every award for delivering a musical like never before. Technically, this film ranks among the top 10 films in Indian cinema. Every frame from set design (Saini S Johray) and cinematography (Vikas nowlakha) to editing ( Shivkumar V. Panicke ),sound design (Bishwadeep chaterjee) and visuals is of the highest standard. The climax is absolutely mind-blowing. Expect thunderous applause in theatres. It will also leave every patriot filled with pride for those unsung heroes and agents who selflessly sacrifice their lives for the nation. Overall, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is a rare sequel that outshines its predecessor by a wide margin. At the box office, it is poised to shatter existing records and set new benchmarks. It has the potential to become the first Hindi film to cross ₹1000 crore net in India and ₹2000 crore worldwide gross (without china).

To claim the Appropriation Bill is the 'best opportunity' for scrutiny is to admit you haven't read Article 114(2) of the Constitution or Rule 218 of the Lok Sabha. Scrutiny happens during Demands for Grants. If your alliance parties wastes that allotted time on disruptions instead of debate, the Speaker has to apply the guillotine to keep the country running. You don't get to burn the time and then complain about the clock running out.

Now that farewell speeches are done, I return back to this tweet from Hon. FinMin’s office handle, in which is a video clip of her reply to me in the Rajya Sabha regarding my 3 minute intervention when Ma’m wasn’t present in the House. Firstly, I am grateful for her detailed reply. However, I can’t help saying that it is unfortunate a senior minister like her good self, who has steered the Budget debate over the years is misleading the house in her reply to me. Hon. Minister I haven’t stated anything incorrect when I said time spent discussing the Appropriation Bill was a mere 3 minute in the Lok Sabha. I am astonished that you were astonished to hear the truth. Hence, it is unfortunate that in your reply you have clubbed the discussion on demand of grants along with appropriation bill. Mam as you are very well aware, Demand for grants discussion is related to certain specific ministries whereas appropriation bill concerns appropriating ₹2,81,289 crore from Consolidated Fund of India into various arms of ministries besides those discussed for over 5 hours in the Lok Sabha. A discussion on Appropriation Bill in the Lok Sabha would have allowed MPs to scrutinise and question the funds to other ministries besides the ones discussed namely- Demands for Grants for the ministries of Railways, Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare. However the application of guillotine has become a regular budget feature over the years to bypass scrutiny & usually 5 ministries that are approved in the BAC are also usually not even those 5 end up being discussed. On Wednesday the Lok Sabha passed the Demands for Grants of various ministries for 2026-27, approving an expenditure of over 253 lakh crore. The House passed the Demands for Grants by applying the guillotine. Respected Ma’m, Applying the guillotine means that the Demands for Grants for the ministries, on which it is being applied, are considered approved without discussion. Hence Mam the appropriation bill would have been the best opportunity for members to scrutinise instead of 3 minutes it took. Also Hon.Minister, here are some more problematic facts for you to deliberate upon. In 2025, about 90% of the total budgeted expenditure was passed without discussion in the Lok Sabha. In 2023, The expenditure of five Ministries (amounting to Rs 11 lakh crore) was listed for discussion in Lok Sabha; however, none were discussed. The proposed expenditure of all Ministries, amounting to Rs 42 lakh crore, was passed without any discussion. In 2019: In the Rajya Sabha, only one out of the four ministries listed was discussed (Ministry of AYUSH). In 2018: The entire expenditure was guillotined, i.e. passed without discussion. Once again, Thank you for your kind attention to this matter.

I wish the Hon'ble member (@priyankac19) is a bit more responsible with her facts, particularly the numbers that she's quoted. She said the Appropriation Bill was introduced at PM in the Lok Sabha and "passed within three minutes". I'm astonished! She's not probably taken into note that Lok Sabha debated Supplementary Demands for Grants for 5 hours, 31 minutes & that too over two days. Allotted time was only four hours, but they did this for 5 hours and 31 minutes. Five hours of Charcha happened. I'm sorry, you should be careful with your numbers. In fact, just to give her a consolation, her party member Shri Anil Desai spoke on the debate. They participated and many of their alliance partners also participated. - Smt @nsitharaman in Rajya Sabha
