@dystopiandream4 You have to wonder: did they actually read your manuscript, or just a page or two, or just your synopsis, or just your letter, or just your name...! Ultimately, YOU have to believe in your work. Also the more original your story, the harder it will be to land an agent, imo.

@allara Wow, sorry to hear that... wonder if your MS triggered them somehow? I've never encountered that, only the opposite with agents saying pls feel free to submit again.

Just had an agent very rudely tell me to never send them a query again. I've had a lot of rejections, but that was a first.
