@JJPM_YT Personally I cut astrograph (which believe me hurt my heart so much) because the vortex package was hard to fit in the extra deck, and that brief window where you overlay turns off the counter trap and opens a window to get nibbed. Astro just wasn’t doing much on its own

A few days ago I was wondering why people weren't playing Astrograph to go into Absolute Dragon in Power Patron Great to see someone visualize it and win Nationals with it! Great List!

@TrifGaming More or less same thing happened in Knoxville. We had 193 at the start of round 1 but by the start of round 2 we managed to get like 10 more people to sign up so it went to top 32

Columbus Regionals had 199 players. We literally needed just 1 more player to go from 24->32 invites…. WOW…. Is my world’s playoff race over? Will the Columbus players get their last chance at an invite to the grandest stage of them all???? Yu-Gi-Oh players will do everything to make their decks 0.3% more consistent then fumble the 1 card combo into no responses

@InstinctCullen Yea, super poly has been great against that deck in my experience. I wish crown wasn’t so expensive. I had to borrow them from a friend because $100/copy is just too unreasonable right now. Fallen & virtuous is goated though

Got 19th at Knoxville Regional with Power Patron! Played basically all board breakers and it felt great. Should’ve had 2 accusations and 3 jizukiru or komungus but didn’t get the cards in time. Lechery locked like 4 games, mostly won with Vidolium beat down. 2-6 in die rolls :)

@InstinctCullen That’s fair. It’s a tough deck to play but I’ve come across some very good striker players that make the deck seem crazy. I don’t know as much about clowns but I really prefer breakers over hand traps this format. So many decks can play through 1-2 hand traps so easily

@Bulbasam214 My one and only issue with Striker is its lack of extra deck space, and it’s been giving me pretty bad hands as of recent. I’ll have to look over my build throughout the week to make sure I’m prepped.

@InstinctCullen Super poly was good but I did miss garura. Siding secreterion for branded and dracotail felt really good, but I wish I had found room for garura in the extra too. Striker seems solid this format. I recommend siding imperm or kaijus for this deck. I saw a ton of PP today

@Bulbasam214 I’m thinking of either playing Striker or Clown Crew for my upcoming regional next week, so having the knowledge that breakers helps out a lot really is quite helpful, thank you. How was Super Poly, might I ask?

@InstinctCullen It absolutely does. But I 2-0’d branded 3 times without ever doing the spell lock. Went 2nd every time and played through their interaction, then banished the grave with vidolium to deny follow up, and won the next turn. Going 2nd with the deck with breakers was a blast

@Bulbasam214 Power Patron is a cool deck in concept, but it really does do a lot of degenerate shit.

@1v9Jonas Yeaah I love this deck! I've been playing it with Adamancipator. I can't wait to pick up the fiendsmith stuff to make it better and play it at events

@PeepsYGO We went through and read every single ragna card on stream and they just did not have a win condition. So either I try to support future plant, insect, and reptile decks (which barely exist in sealed, trust me) or ANY earth deck. Seemed obvious to me idk

Decided to do something new and check out comments on a Master Saga video. Hilarious experience. YouTube commenters will complain about anything - raking Doug over the coals for not going into the OBVIOUS best pack choice, and the deck they’re talking about is fucking Ragnaraika.
