9 days later and @BurnleyFCISA have still not shared any details about their meeting with Pace & Ball. For a ‘Supporters Group’ that is meant to represent and ‘support’ all the ‘supporters’, one would assume they’d be forthcoming. Obviously not. #twitterclarets

The @BurnleyFCISA did respond, which is great of them and is appreciated. But I feel much transparency is needed when you’re in a privileged position. Generic word salads when the club is in such a state, is not enough. #twitterclarets The fans are more disconnected from the club, more than anytime I’ve seen in my lifetime. Questions need to be asked and answers are needed.

Thank you for the response. You haven’t really shared any specifics though; it just reads as a generic word salad. We knew this from the match programme. 1) What were their exact words? 2) Why do they think it’s acceptable? 3) They think that 1 win in 22 is ok? 4) Do they want to take any responsibility? 5) What other questions were raised as per your update? 6) What do Espanyol fans think? No win in 12. They must also feel something isn’t right. Sorry if this comes across as unfair; I don’t think it is. I feel groups like yours, obviously come with privileges such as the meeting itself. So I feel it’s only right you are completely transparent. Thanks!

@__Gothmog @ryan_murton @TheBurnleyWay Absolutely not. We know several members of the FAB and get on with them. They have their own remit, as do we. We are constitutionally very different as we are democratically elected and independent from the club.

@ryan_murton Hi Ryan, The chairman, as noted in the notes, said he meant what he said on Football Focus. We received a lot of complaints from members; we raised our concerns on behalf of them; we asked for clarification; we were invited to speak to the chairman; we were given that response.
