When I was a kid I thought $4,000/month meant $4,000/month.
Nobody told me about taxes. Nobody told me about insurance. Nobody told me about rent, utilities, groceries, gas, phone, subscriptions, student loans, and "unexpected expenses."
I clear $4,200 a month.
