🚨 $TAO BITTENSOR PROPOSAL A few hours ago, there was a live meeting on Discord with Bittensor founder Const and our amazing and committed community. I took notes on the most important points and I’m leaving them below. Here are the key takeaways. Bittensor philosophy; -Const reinforced that the protocol has always “rolled with the punches” and learned from exploits since the very beginning. Every failure helped improve the chain, refine incentives, and move closer to building functional decentralized AI markets. -Const acknowledged Sam’s betrayal, took responsibility, and offered direct apologies to affected holders. (You are not the one to blame. But apology accepted.) Main proposal: Locked Stake (Conviction Mechanism) A new staking dimension is being introduced. Beyond normal stake, time now becomes part of the equation. Stake can be locked for months or even years. This creates a public and cryptographically verifiable conviction metric: locked stake multiplied by remaining lock time. Subnet owners, and any holder, will be able to demonstrate long-term commitment transparently. Objectives of the mechanism; -Prevent rugs and sudden exits that drain liquidity and harm investors -Give Alpha and TAO holders more influence over the direction of subnets -Replace human trust assumptions with mathematical, protocol-level guarantees -Make subnet ownership dynamic and competitive. Today it is immutable. How rollout will work; -First step will be the lock mechanism itself, without hierarchical governance yet -Initial testing will happen in mature subnets like 3, 39, 81 and possibly other large ones -New subnets will have a grace period (immunity) -During governance activation; -Anyone will be able to lock stake and vote on the owner key -The highest conviction wins Benefits for the ecosystem; -Increases investor confidence and helps capital formation -Teams can signal real skin in the game through locked stake -Improves long-term alignment between owners, miners, validators and stakers -Opens the path for stronger governance at subnet level and later at root/chain level Long-term vision; -Bittensor wants to solve real governance problems that no one in Web3 has fully solved yet. Not just degen cycles and pump mechanics. -The Conviction mechanism is seen as a key step toward building a real federation of decentralized and trustworthy AI companies. My thoughts; After the Covenant episode, this feels like the beginning of a full transparency phase. Now it’s time to implement, improve, evolve and keep building. The best builders will come out stronger from this moment. Holders miners validators teams owners Everyone moves forward from here. I hope so. I strongly recommend going directly to the original source on the official Bittensor channel. Don’t be lazy. 😅

I have no interest in revisiting these old disputes with CZ, but his book filled with falsehoods has dragged me into this for no reason. He has a long-standing habit of making misleading statements to the public, the media, and the world. Unfortunately, this tendency to distort the truth does not seem to change. According to reporting by CoinDesk, his wife submitted a letter of support to the judge. In the report, she consistently referred to them as “husband” and “wife,” without using terms like “ex-wife” or “ex-husband.” (I have great respect for her loyalty and resilience.) However, in his own book and media interviews, he has been deliberately vague about his marital status — at times saying they are separated, at times suggesting they are divorced. So what is the actual situation? Did the divorce happen after his release? If they are indeed divorced, was his stake in Binance properly divided in accordance with the law? This is not only a legal matter, but also a question of basic moral responsibility and integrity as a husband. Figures like Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates both followed legal processes to divide assets with their spouses during their divorces.

Idiot @star_okx it’s between him and her how to divide their assets and whether to divide or not. They are having a mutual understanding and respect towards each other. What the fuck you have to do with his personal matters. No wonder your exchange had became shit. Instead of competing on growth or business- you lowered yourself to this standards. This shows your pettiness. There is no rule to give half of assets to someone just because they got married - like Elon didn’t do it, Trump didn’t do it. It’s based on their understanding and mutual decision so shut the fuck up.

Loosh AI
Loosh AI@Loosh_ai·
Yes we are currently at risk of being deregistered next. It's not the first time we have been here. Building a company is hard. Building one inside Bittensor, with DTAO, TAO flow, and market sentiment all moving at launch, is harder. We underestimated how little time we would have to adjust while live. In the last two months, we launched, refined the business model, narrowed the scope, clarified the message, and started customer conversations around a real pain point. Our positioning is now much clearer: Loosh is a cognition middleware layer that extends the AI stack. We are focused on reducing training time, repeated instructions, lost multi session tasks, and high exception rates. The goal is lower supervision overhead, stronger task continuity, and more reliable performance across deployments. We were early. In some ways, we still are. But being early is not enough. The work has to translate into clear value under real market conditions. We believe Bittensor is the right environment to explore and prove these concepts. At the same time, we do not yet have customers, and without customers we do not have the resources to support buybacks. Loosh has been bootstrapped from day one. We have made meaningful progress with a small team, but we have also learned hard lessons about incentive design, adversarial environments, and how quickly weak assumptions get exposed. Over the past week, we had direct conversations about what comes next. We now have a new incentive model in testing. It is a better direction, but it will take time to implement properly. We know more now than we did at launch, and the next version of this project will be better because of it. Now it comes down to time, execution, and whether we get the chance to prove it. We are not done yet.

Hey Bittensor, We set out to build something we believed didn’t exist yet and would be an essential product in the future. And right now, we’re at real risk of deregistration. And it hurts more than we expected it to. When we came to @opentensor, it wasn’t for the economics. It was because we believed this was a network that could support work that’s early, technically demanding, and worth building. @Loosh_ai was never meant to be easy to explain in one sentence. Part of the challenge has been explaining something that spans multiple disciplines, without losing clarity along the way. We’re working on memory, reasoning, and emotional understanding in machines - not as features, but as foundations. For machines that can remember what happened yesterday, weigh difficult decisions, and behave appropriately in real-world environments without being told exactly what to do in every situation. It sounds ambitious because it is. But it’s also ambitious because the world it’s built for is only just starting to emerge. We’re moving from systems that respond, to systems that act. The robotics market may not be fully here yet. But the underlying problem is, and we’re already seeing how it’s beginning to play out. Systems that follow instructions too literally, systems that drift outside their intended scope, systems that behave correctly in isolation, but incorrectly - sometimes even dangerously - in context: these aren’t edge cases, they’re structural. Which means they won’t go away on their own. Right now, almost all approaches try to solve this by adding more rules, more constraints, more output checks. We think that’s not enough. In some cases, it may even be the wrong direction. There's a version of this that ends well. Robots enter homes, hospitals, and hospitality at scale. The question of trust - whether they can remember, reason, and act ethically - is a central question in AI. And someone will need to have built the foundations for that. We wanted that someone to have been us. Here. In this network. We understand how incentive mechanisms work. We understand why holders move toward what’s measurable today. That’s rational. But it does raise a question about what Bittensor is for. At its best, it’s a frontier, a place where difficult, important, demanding problems can be worked on before they’re obvious. We're not asking for blind support. We're asking for a little more time and the chance to prove this direction in a way that’s visible. In the short term, we’re focused on improving miner response quality on a hard timeline. And later this week, we’ll release a whitepaper outlining a new framework for how to define and enforce the boundaries of agentic systems. We don’t think this problem is solved yet. And we don’t think it’s optional. That’s why we’re still here, and still building. If you believe in what we’re trying to do, now is the moment to back us. And we’re grateful to everyone who’s been with us along the way.
