📜 OFFICIAL PROCLAMATION FROM GENERAL JORDAN STAAL Commanding Officer, Carolina Regiment Citizens of Raleigh and honored members of the Carolina Regiment, It is with great pride and unwavering confidence that I announce the promotion of Master Sergeant Taylor Hall to the distinguished rank of Sergeant Major in the Carolina Regiment. Master Sergeant Hall has demonstrated exceptional leadership, composure under fire, and an unrelenting will to dominate the battlefield. During the Battle of Ottawa, his command presence and tactical execution were nothing short of decisive. While the enemy, led by General Tkachuk of the Ottawa Regiment, sought to defend their frozen stronghold, it was MSG Hall who exposed their weaknesses, dismantled their resolve, and forced their commander into visible frustration before his own ranks. Through discipline, grit, and calculated aggression, Taylor did not merely contribute to victory—he defined it. His actions rallied our men, elevated our standards, and sent a clear message across the campaign: the Carolina Hurricanes do not waver, and we do not yield. For his valor, leadership, and unwavering commitment to this cause, I have personally ordered his promotion to Sergeant Major, entrusting him with greater responsibility as we continue our march toward Lord Stanley’s prize. Let this serve as both recognition and warning— Recognition of a leader forged in battle, and a warning to all who stand against us. Stand tall, Carolina. Your Regiment grows stronger by the day. To General Staal, Commanding Officer of the Carolina Regiment— Sir, I bear news of total and final victory! Upon the fields of Ottawa, the enemy has been struck down for the fourth and final time, their force undone by a decisive count of four to two. Not a single contest in this campaign has escaped our grasp. The sweep is complete. Their banners fall. Their will is broken! From the first clash to the final horn, our regiment imposed its dominion with iron resolve. The foe, desperate and cornered, summoned what strength remained and pressed for reprieve—but it was not to be granted. Our lines held firm. Our advance did not falter. Every inch of ground was contested, and every hope of theirs extinguished in turn. Yet even in the hour of triumph, we are reminded of the cost of war. Private First Class Nikishin, in the thick of the struggle, was struck and carried from the field. His injury, though a blow to our ranks, has only steeled the men’s resolve. They fought on in his name, and in so doing ensured that his sacrifice was not borne in vain. Word spreads swiftly through the regiment, and all await favorable reports of his condition. As the final seconds ebbed away, there remained no doubt: the Ottawa force was spent. Their resistance collapsed, and the field—by right of strength and discipline—belonged wholly to us. Thus ends this campaign. The enemy is routed. No further action is required in this theater. The men now stand battle-hardened and unbroken, their spirits aflame as we march onward in pursuit of Lord Stanley’s prize. Greater trials lie ahead, but none shall find us unprepared. We await your command. I remain, General, your obedient servant,

Men of the Carolina Regiment— On this cold and hostile ground, deep within the enemy’s own territory, you have delivered a third consecutive defeat upon the Ottawa force. Not once, not twice, but thrice have they stood before you—and thrice have they been cast down. Let it be known: there is no refuge for them, not even upon their own frozen battlefield. You have fought with discipline, with fury, and with unshakable resolve. The enemy believed their home would grant them strength… yet it has only served as the stage for their unraveling. I call forth now those whose valor burned brightest in the heat of battle— Corporal Stankoven—your relentless assault and sharp execution struck fear into their ranks and broke their lines. Private First Class Blake—your courage and timely strikes turned the tide when the moment demanded it most. Corporal Miller—your command and precision carried the fight forward and ensured our dominance was never in question. These men stand as examples to you all—proof that victory favors not just the bold, but the prepared and the united. But hear me clearly—this campaign is not yet finished. The enemy staggers. They falter. They retreat in spirit, though not yet in full. Tomorrow, we march again upon Ottawa soil, and we shall deliver the final blow that sends them into complete and utter retreat. No quarter, no mercy—only victory. Stand ready. Sharpen your steel. Rest, but do not grow comfortable. For we march not just to defeat an enemy—but to continue our pursuit of Lord Stanley’s prize. Forward, men—toward glory. - General Staal #SoundTheSiren #GoSensGo

A Declaration of Victory to the Good People of Raleigh Citizens of this proud city, I write to you with triumphant news from the northern front. The Carolina Regiment has delivered a decisive and righteous blow against the Ottawa forces. Four times they challenged us in battle—and four times they were cast back. At last, the enemy has raised the white flag and retreated in full, their will broken and their cause undone. Make no mistake—the foe grew desperate. In their final efforts, they abandoned honor and resorted to cowardly tactics and cheap assaults unbecoming of any true fighting force. Yet our men did not waver. With discipline, courage, and unwavering resolve, the Carolina Regiment stood firm, absorbed their treachery, and answered with strength and honor. Victory, earned the right way, is ours. We do, however, bear the cost of battle. Private Nikishin was struck in the fray, and though his fall gave us pause, I am relieved to report that our medics assure us he will recover fully. His bravery shall not be forgotten, and his return will be welcomed with the gratitude of the entire regiment. Let it also be known that Master Sergeant Hall distinguished himself beyond measure, leading with valor and precision in the heat of combat. Alongside him, Corporal Stankoven demonstrated exceptional skill and composure under fire. Both men have been formally recommended for promotion, and rightly so—their actions were instrumental in securing this victory. Now hear this, people of Raleigh—take to your streets with brooms in hand and celebrate this sweeping triumph! Let the sound of jubilation ring through every corner of Raleigh, for the enemy has been thoroughly swept aside. Raise your voices, your banners, and your spirits, for such victories are not common—they are earned through grit and unity. Yet our campaign is not complete. We remain in steadfast pursuit of Lord Stanley’s prize, that most coveted symbol of supremacy, and we shall not rest until it is firmly in Carolina’s grasp. Our banners now turn southward as we make for Raleigh, where we shall rest, recover, and ready ourselves for the next great contest. Word reaches us that the forces of Pittsburgh and Philadelphia are locked in struggle. Whichever of those Pennsylvania regiments emerges, we will be waiting—and we shall greet them with the same fury and resolve that brought Ottawa to its knees. Stand proud, Raleigh. Your regiment fights not only with strength, but with honor—and that is why we prevail. Victory belongs to Carolina. Jordan L Staal GEN, CAR Commanding #SoundTheSiren #GoSensGo

My Dearest at Home, At long last, we have completed our march upon Ottawa, and tonight we make our stand upon their frozen field of battle. The journey was steady and without incident, and I am pleased to report the regiment arrives in strong condition—well-rested, in good health, and fully prepared for the clash ahead. The men carry a quiet confidence among them. We aim to place the Senators firmly upon their heels and seize a third victory in as many engagements. The spirit in camp is resolute, sharpened by purpose and the promise of triumph. Lieutenant Jarvis remains keenly focused, eager to lead our offensive charge and strike where the enemy is most vulnerable. Meanwhile, Sergeant Major Slavin has gathered the men in prayer, asking for both courage in battle and a safe return to those we hold dear. Know that I carry thoughts of home with me into this contest, and it strengthens my resolve more than any musket or blade ever could. With confidence, - Jordan #SoundTheSiren #GoSensGo

To the Brave Soldiers of Carolina, Men of valor, Once more, you have carried the day and etched your names into the annals of triumph. The enemy, the Ottawa Regiment, did not yield easily—they pressed, they challenged, and they fought with commendable resolve. Yet even in their fiercest moments, it was plain to any man with eyes that Providence had already chosen the victor. Time and again, their volleys came near—dangerously near—only to veer aside as if guided by an unseen hand. Shots that might have struck true instead drifted harmlessly away, as though deflected by the will of the Almighty Himself. Take heed, men: such signs are not coincidence, but confirmation that our cause is righteous and favored. The battle’s turning point came with a bold strike from Private First Class Jankowski—a blow that would have sealed the contest outright, were it not for the curious interference of local authorities, who erected a barricade and denied us the immediate spoils. Yet fate cannot be delayed forever. For in the decisive moment, Major Martinook rose to glory and delivered the final, crushing blow upon the foe. WHAT A GUY! Let his name ring through the camps tonight, a symbol of grit and unyielding spirit. Now, men, do not grow comfortable in victory. The enemy retreats northward, battered and shaken. We shall not grant them rest. Prepare yourselves at once—ready your gear, steady your hearts—for we march upon their stronghold. The road leads to Ottawa, and we shall pursue this fleeing regiment until their resistance is but a memory. Stand tall, soldiers of Carolina. Victory follows you—and destiny awaits. To the Honorable Citizens of Raleigh, I write to you as Commander of the Carolina Regiment, after a days’ reprieve from our first clash with the forces of Ottawa. The men have taken what rest they could, mended their wounds, and sharpened both steel and spirit. Yet I must inform you—the enemy stirs once more. By nightfall, they shall make their advance upon Raleigh. Be assured, good people, that we do not stand unprepared. Our defenses are set, our lines fortified, and every safeguard has been carefully laid to repel their assault. The regiment stands resolute, united in purpose, and unwavering in its duty to protect this city and all who call it home. Our network of scouts and spies has brought forth intelligence most favorable to our cause. It is reported that CPT Zub of Ottawa has fallen in the prior engagement, his condition uncertain and his return to battle in doubt. In his absence, a weakness has emerged within their defensive ranks—a breach we intend to exploit with precision and force. Yet we must remain vigilant, for the enemy still boasts dangerous firepower. Particular attention shall be given to suppressing the efforts of The Ottawa Embellishment Officer, SGT Stützle himself, whose offensive prowess has proven a threat and his uncanny ability to be felled by the ghost of a passing breeze could render us trouble with law enforcement. Our men are prepared to contain him, denying space, time, and opportunity at every turn. I place great confidence in several of our most valiant officers this evening. COL Aho has pledged to lead the charge with precision and cunning. 1LT Jarvis brings youthful fire and fearless resolve. And SFC Svechnikov stands ready to deliver the kind of force that turns the tide of battle. Each has given me their word—they are prepared. Take heart, Raleigh. The storm may gather, but we shall meet it head-on. Stand firm behind your regiment, as we stand firm before the foe. By dawn, I intend to write again with news of the defeat of General Tkachuk, Commander of the Retreating Rabble as he and his men run to Ottawa having been dealt a second blow in as many sunsets. For Carolina, for Raleigh, and for honor, - Jordan #SoundTheSiren #GoSensGo

Men of Carolina, tonight we stood our ground and seized victory from the enemy. The Ottawa regiment came with force, yet we allowed them no true strike upon our lines. Sergeant First Class Andersen held the last defense with unshakable resolve, turning aside every advance as if guided by Providence itself. Ahead, the Corporal Stankoven line pressed the attack with precision and courage, breaking the will of our foes and driving them into retreat. Let it be known: this night belongs to us. Hold fast, for the campaign is not yet won—but by efforts such as these, Lord Stanley’s prize draws ever nearer. #SoundTheSiren

To the Good People of Raleigh, I pray this letter finds you in health and steadfast spirit, though I confess it has been far too long since last I took quill to paper. The fault, I assure you, lies not in neglect, but in the unrelenting fury of this campaign. Day gives way to night, and night again to day, yet the thunder of battle scarcely ceases. Our men have scarcely known rest, for the enemy presses at all hours, and we are compelled to answer in kind with equal vigor. The struggle has been long and arduous, yet I write now with a measure of encouragement. The enemy’s strength dwindles. Where once their ranks seemed endless, there remain but sixteen regiments still in pursuit of Lord Stanley’s prize. They are weary, as we are, and their lines grow thinner with each passing engagement. Our cause remains just, and our resolve unbroken. The men under my command have borne themselves with a courage that would stir the coldest heart. They stand ready, eager even, to deliver the blow that shall drive the Senators out of our city, fleeing for Ottawa with two fatal blows. Yet let it be known: the enemy we face is cunning. They are led by General B. Tkachuk, a man once counted among Americans, who has since betrayed that birthright to cast his lot with the Canadians in their capital city. He fights with a fierce determination, perhaps to prove the righteousness of his defection—but such resolve shall not save him from the judgment that awaits. Take heart, citizens of Raleigh. Though the nights are long and the battles many, victory draws ever nearer. Stand firm in your support, keep faith in the cause, and know that your countrymen fight with honor, that liberty may prevail. I remain, with the utmost respect and determination, Your obedient servant, Jordan L. Staal GEN, CAR Commading

To the Honored Citizens of Raleigh, I write to you from the far northern fields, where the Carolina Regiment now stands firm upon the edge of destiny. By God’s providence and the steady courage of our men, we have encircled the garden of New York itself, hemming in the enemy rangers who lurk within its hedges and lanes. As dusk approaches, the air grows still, and every musket is checked, every blade set, for before night fully claims the sky we shall be called to battle. Know this: the spirit of the Regiment is unbroken and keen. The men are calm, resolved, and fixed upon one final triumph this evening before turning their faces southward toward home and some well-earned leave. They speak not of fear, but of duty fulfilled and of finishing this work as it ought to be finished. For many weeks now, led by the steady defense of CPL Bussi, the Carolina Regiment has not known defeat. Through hardship, hunger, and long marches, they have stood fast and prevailed. Their confidence is not boastful, but earned—tempered by discipline and strengthened by brotherhood. They believe, as I do, that we are prepared to enter the coming leave not merely as victors of another engagement, but as the greatest army this young nation has ever seen. Carry word of our resolve to every hearth and hall in Raleigh. Hold your heads high, for your sons and neighbors stand ready, and tonight they intend to add one more chapter of honor before returning home. My Dearest Mother, I pray this letter finds you in good health and steady spirits, for I write to you with a heavy yet resolute heart. Know first that I am safe, and that our cause, though battered this night, yet lives on. We gathered late to rally against the redcoats of Detroit, determined to press them until they yielded ground and honor alike. The clash was fierce and honest, and by strength of will alone we drew even with them upon the field. For a time, it seemed the balance of fate leaned in our favor, and the men fought as though liberty itself marched at their side. Yet, Mother, the course of the battle was turned not by musket nor by courage, but by the sudden hand of law enforcement, who descended upon the fray and shifted its weight. By their intervention, the redcoats were granted just enough power to slip away, claiming a narrow and most unjust victory—one earned not in fair contest, but by decree and indulgence. I must tell you of Staff Sergeant Gostisbehere, who stood mighty in the struggle. He was everywhere at once, striking true and steady, a constant thorn in the redcoats’ advance. Alongside him, Colonel Aho raised his voice and his efforts to suppress the influence of law enforcement upon the contest, pleading for fairness and the rule of honest battle. Alas, the policy makers turned a deaf ear, and our appeals were cast aside as though they carried no weight at all. Though the result weighs upon us, do not mistake this for defeat of spirit. The men remain proud, bonded by what we endured together, and certain that justice, though delayed, has not abandoned us forever. I carry your lessons with me always—of patience, dignity, and perseverance—and they steady my hand even in moments such as this. On to St. Louis… Give my love to all at home, and do not let worry take root in your heart. I remain your devoted son, ever steadfast, and ever prepared for the next call to stand. Your loving and obedient son, - Jordan
