@KSVesq We are, indeed, hurting. For those who have close family or friends living in Israel, (in my case my son and his family and multiple cousins) the anguish for what we have seen so far, and the fear of what is yet to come in unbearable.

@millennialprof @EtienneT_Esq 1979: one red Lexis ubiq terminal. Dos and blinking cursors (raise your hand if you remember Dos!). 30 minutes at a time. We felt so cool. Westlaw introduced one year later.

I often wonder what law school was like before computers. No emails so faculty just go home and read books and drink tea. Law students have to go to office hours to ask questions. Law reviews send rejections to your actual mailbox. Professors write on the blackboard with chalk.

@EtienneT_Esq Alas some do not. One semester, several students told me they could not read my handwritten comments on their 1L memos (cursive/print combo) as they never learned cursive (or penmanship). #Irememberwhen

Wait do kids these days learn script? How do they learn their signature?
