@CheeseEmergency @roisinfw @bsmhft We have quiet safe space rooms on all of our wards that are sensory focused and very relaxing. Our service users really like these spaces.

@EmbodiedTales There was no minimum wage when I started but I was paid £1.50 and hour as a 14 year old ‘care assistant’ in a care home and was expected to hand out meds. I left b/c I was scared of finding someone dead.

Child psychiatry/clinical psych tweeps: anyone encountered cases(s) of psychotic like symptoms in very young children, but also memory loss and periods of confusion? Leads would be much appreciated.

@outdoorperscrip @wendyburn My gp referred to gynae as I was already on antidepressants and had a mirena coil. Gynae great. Psych didn’t acknowledge even to the point of not continuing treatment while inpatient. Had a hysterectomy in September. I would focus on gp and gynae

Can a psychiatrist assess/diagnose PMDD? I am not a fan of labels or excessive assessment, but it's been mentioned for the last 3 years by HCPS, but not on my records. I feel having it noted might help to understand future crisis support and also discuss medication. @wendyburn ?

@FHounddog @crys_tom A dosset box. I have one. I do a weeks worth at a time. The only way I remember to take them and remember that I have taken them

@crys_tom I've been doing this daily for yrs. I have a stack of pill boxes. In a container. They are all individual, so u can take a days container out with u. I've made a crap attempt to explain that 😁 I use my Mobile to set alarm to take mine 4 times a day .
