Great flight from Helsinki to New York with @Finnair : I like the non-reclining seat actually, can get a fully flat bed with space. Terrific views and despite being tray served the meal, especially the trout, was excellent!!

There is a little known bylaw in Helsinki which states it is obligatory, even if you’re only in the city for a couple of hours, to visit Regatta Cafe for l a fresh, warm, light and delicious cinnamon bun and a coffee. Who am I to disobey?

Today marks 22 years as the Archdeacon of Sarum, and I’ve given the Bishop notice that I’ll retire from that role at the end of July this year. DV I’ll continue to serve with the RAChD and the ACF.

Some news: It was announced yesterday morning that @BishopNewcastle , has appointed the Revd (Brian) Lee Taylor as the next Vicar of Holy Trinity with St Mary, Berwick-upon-Tweed. No licensing date has been set yet but it’s likely to be Spring 2025
