@tannerlinsley @yiannis__p Yeah that makes sense but I've been thinking about taking the opposite bet. Create really good abstractions / designs up front that AI can call directly without messing up the details.

@yiannis__p @CodingGarden Encoding really magical opinions into your system is something we're going to leave up to AI now. Flexibility, composition, escape hatches are a long-game at the primitive level.

If you were building a full stack JS framework from scratch today, what would you add that is missing from Next.js, SvelteKit, Nuxt, Tanstack Start and Solid Start?

yup. i'd love to give you a guided tour, and show you what else we have up up our sleeves, if you're interested. been a fan of coding garden for many years now. found it when I was teaching myself how to code and changed careers about 6-7 years ago :) Or if you just have Qs, lemme know. happy to answer more.

@yiannis__p I think tanstack start leaves a bit too much up to the end developer. I'd like to see more sensible defaults and less boilerplate. More direct + magic integration of server functions and tanstack query. More injected opinions overall.

@whoisnurbek Yeah most of these things every app has to figure out their own way to do it. By entrypoint do you mean a config file? Or like a top level CLI command?

@CodingGarden I wish a full stack framework felt like a backend framework first Give me a clear entrypoint where I can: - run migrations - register cron jobs - boot t3 env - prepare stuff before the app starts That's my biggest pain with modern full stack frameworks

@hot_town Nice! I like the approach but I'm not a fan of the DSL - I'm wondering if we could achieve something similar but stick to JSON / TypeScript - did you explore that early on?

@ezra_yisma I'm not super familiar with those ecosystems. Are these CLI comands for generating models / pages? What other types of commands do they have?

@CodingGarden I think commands. It's something I miss from Laravel/Django land. They open up new areas for automation. But workflows probably cover that side. Also not too sure if you can manually trigger those though
