@Ozedikus You can be poor and render help in your own little way. Wealth is not a requirement for kindness and generosity

If you really want to help the poor, the first thing you must do is make sure you’re not one of them

Your health is built by what you do consistently, not occasionally. Sleep well, eat wisely, move daily and drink enough water.💙 Good sleep helps: 1.) Strengthen your immune system 2.) lmprove memory and concentration 3.) Reduce stress and anxiety 4.) Support heart health 5.) Maintain a healthy weight

At 25, Steven was earning ₦150k monthly. His girlfriend Laura left him for a man driving a ₦35M SUV. At 32, Steven sold his startup for ₦800M. Now people call it a success story. Here is where we need to draw the line: If she had stayed, would he have worked that hard? Did heartbreak destroy him or build him?

𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬, 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞'𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐬 In 2024, I took my one year old son to the hospital and what I experienced still stays with me. The auxiliary nurses kept using syringes trying to locate a vein on both of his tiny hands. He cried through every failed attempt. At one point, one of them even suggested they try his leg. That was when I lost my patience and insisted that a more experienced medical professional step in. That experience opened my eyes even more to the gaps in our healthcare system. Beyond my personal experience, there is a deeper problem, emergency care in Nigeria is increasingly becoming tied to financial capability rather than urgency. In some cases, patients are asked for huge deposits before being attended to, even in critical conditions. That raises a painful question; what happens to those who cannot afford it in that moment? Healthcare should never feel like a business transaction before treatment begins. What we need is urgent reform: better training for frontline medical staff, stricter supervision in hospitals, improved emergency response systems, better pediatric care skills and proper accountability structures. Hospitals also need adequate equipment so professionals are not forced to improvise in ways that cause unnecessary pain. No child should go through that level of distress. No parent should have to fight for basic competence in a life-saving environment. Human lives must always come first.

As a man, normalise a boring life. Go to bed early. Read long books. Drink tea. Regulate your nervous system. Spend time alone. Go for walks without headphones. Eat simple food. Shrink your circle. Turn down the noise.

Every time you swipe a card, tap a POS, or send a transfer in Nigeria someone is taking a cut. Most Nigerians have no idea who that someone is. Let me show you who actually owns Nigerian payment infrastructure 🧵
