@arielhelwani Nate isn't going back to the UFC. His number was already higher than what they are willing to pay for anyone in 2026, that is why all their big stars are leaving or have already left. UFC has been in the slop business since they signed the espn deal.

I can tell you the UFC was interested in bringing Nate Diaz back, but at the end of the day, this was a no-brainer for Nate. I don't think it's going out on a limb to say this could be the most-watched MMA card of all time, because it's on the biggest platform in the world. You go out and win this fight, and all of a sudden you can go back to the UFC and say, 'Alright, the number just changed.' This level of competition is great for the fighters and the health of the sport.
