So, I might be gone for a while. I’m too nice not to answer back and no one reads my bio. I’m getting very overwhelmed. I saw a post where someone says girls who say that that don’t want DMs actually do. What a stupid thing to for that woman to say.

This is why I go offline for so long. I do appreciate the concern from friends, but the others…….it’s crazy overwhelming for someone like me.

@DammitBits I always hate how the medical profession in particular doesn’t value their patients time. Fingers crossed for you.

@AnnettePursley When were you here? And of course I believe it 🥶

@Darrelldoc The coldest place I’ve ever been in my life was Winnipeg in the winter.!

What is Canada’s greatest sports moment of all time? 🇨🇦🤔

@hogamadog The Rangers were my favourite team back in the early 70’s, and Jean Ratelle was very surprised that I wanted his autograph that day lol. I also got his line mate Rod Gilbert.

@Darrelldoc Hard to top that. What a memory to have. Cold war hockey at its pinnacle. Players were obviously more accessible then.

I don't "lose it" and many hockey fans, like myself, understand that the '72 Summit Series and the 1980 Olympic Miracle are sacred to Canadian and US hockey fans, respectively. Comparing them is pointless as the victories were born from a completely different set of challenges and their outcomes served entirely different purposes. Each stands alone in its own right.
JJ Mkay@KrjKirk
@uniformcritic Americans will lose it, but this was far greater than the 1980 medal. The Canadians won 3 out of 4 in Moscow with refs the Soviets picked, with the Soviets keeping them awake all night, all kinds of cheating. The level of hatred was off the charts.

@Hot_Pepper76 A difficult choice to be sure, but my favourite has to be “My Old School”!

"Reelin' in the Years" (1972)
A sharp look back at youth and a past love, nostalgia, regret, and sarcasm all tangled together.
"Stowin' away the time" and gathering up the tears, it is memory with an edge.
Which Steely Dan track is your favorite?

@Darrelldoc It’s still for a few minutes here too, but I decided to be a rebel. 😂
