On your way to the airport for @Token2049 in Singapore, your wife calls—her left face suddenly paralyzed after waking up.
She tries to sound strong: “Go, don’t worry about me.”
Would you still board that flight, or turn back?

Captainz broke the bid wall from the whale, not really cool to see since it shows demand is seriously lacking @Memeland
But there is something really positive about it, the whale spent almost 1500 ETH for all his memland bags, I would say the 50 Bids that got taken are effectively out of circulation since he won't sell them.
Less supply to jeet is positive, but damn why does it have to come to this

The dump in Memeland assets continues.
It looks like a single whale dumped all his Captainz NFTs into bids today, including an Alien Captainz he bought two years ago for 40 ETH.
The main reason is likely that $MEME is vesting with the NFTs and is down -93% in the last year. Some holders also cite the lack of development/communication on the NFT side.
But there may be some light at the end of the tunnel:
NFT token unlocks expire at the end of the year so we could see a bottom forming as the bleeding of continued unlocks comes to an end.
Or we may see some strength in $MEME again (I think Firesale unlocks ended or will end soon), which would increase the value of the remaining unlocks and thus the value of the NFTs.
Either way, it's crazy that the project's market cap (while stay having vested tokens!) is approaching CloneX, which have basically been abandoned.
So could be oversold, thoughts?

The slow rug continues.
Delusional holders in my original post are finally waking up to the truth about Ray and Memeland.
Apparently, Ray hasn’t said a word in the Memeland Discord for over 40 days.
“Loyalty and patience will be rewarded” 💔

Memeland feels like a slow rug right now. They call themselves a "Community Company", but everything is managed in an extremely centralized way. No communication, broken promises, and lack of progress on almost everything. Truly feel bad for their community—they deserve better leadership. I tried to warn them, but they laughed at me instead.

From a trading perspective, super rare NFTs are -EV most of the time compared to floors.
The only left-facing Pudgy Penguin sold for 400 ETH in August 2022 when the floor price was 2.5 ETH.
Now the floor price is 12 ETH (5x from 2022) and the rarest Penguin sold for 200 ETH (0.5x) today.
Investing the same 400 ETH in floor Penguins in 2022 would have been a generational trade.
Plus much better liquidity for the sales (the 200 ETH sale was an accepted bid on Gondi).
Holding rares can be "worth it" from a collecting (or pfp) perspective or if there are direct benefits to holding rares (for example increased allocations for airdrops vs floors).
In most collections, 1 NFT = 1 NFT when it comes to token airdrops or access tho, which makes it -EV from a trading/profit perspective.
Sooo… would you rather buy 50 floors or 1 rare NFT?
