A few years ago I designed the original logo for @DesignTokens. Recently they asked me to refresh it: simpler, more versatile, and blue (the original color of links). The new logo builds on the old one, keeping the connected core while refining it for any size or use.

I envision the same world but an even broader one. A design API that would power tokens and assets everywhere within an org design system. Tokens and assets should navigate freely between teams and tools.

Why is this exciting? Personally, I can see a world where we manage cross functional variables with Figma + JSON, feeding them into tools where our XFN teams work JSON ↔️ Figma ↪️ Photoshop for brand work ↪️ InDesign for print work ↪️ After Effects for video work
