Interesting to see the way IBs are combating PE recruiting. Basically if you recruit and disclose, you’ll be moved to a diff business segment. Kinda defeats the point of PE funds recruiting early and expecting analysts to gain deal experience. Still seems like the best move for analysts is to simply recruit and stfu about it. No other way around it

In high school I sold $100K’s of products on eBay. I scoured FatWallet and SlickDeals for discounts, rebates, and price matching hacks.
Today you can automate much of this using a browser agent to source, buy, and list products on online marketplaces.

What kind of output are you guys looking for from a sourcing VA.
Personally after having one for 2 months now, it’s very tricky. I feel like he isn’t producing enough honestly.
Esp when a lot of buys i hit on are just replens atp. So when it comes to him sourcing and looking for new leads it’s difficult.
However I have him focused on a couple other projects other than sourcing weekly, which makes his value for money go up for sure.
But his main job is just lacking I feel, so let me know what your guys op on them are

If you’re an Amazon seller mainly doing OA but want to try A2A tell me.
I will happily give you 30 days to @FlipAlert and the community to show you how the two combined is a super power.
Think of it this way. Most Amazon price drops that we flip A2A is because Amazon is price matching a retailer somewhere.
Sure we get to buy them from Amazon and make some profit but we also get to reverse search the item and find the original source. Then not only buy more of our original winner but likely a number of new SKUs Amazon hasn’t matched.
It’s a beautiful way to finding new retailers and sales that aren’t as common.
I made a shirt a couple years ago that says “Google Everything” as a reaction to A2A flips and it’s a mainstay in spending hundreds of thousands of extra dollars a year on inventory.

Another day of fewer amazon sellers buying A2A. The trend this year has been products sitting longer for purchase. Mix that with prices trending upward between supply chain issues and increased MSRP and it’s been one of the most profitable quarters since 2020-2021. Easier to purchase + increased prices = hiring a second team member for the warehouse for prep. Let’s get to it 🤝

Week 3 of having a shopper our RA sourcing... She has a much better feel of the process, brands to look for, using the @SellifyTeam app in conjunction with identifying a Walmart lead.
