The impact is far greater on Europe, China, India, and others than on the US. What every high ranking current and former U.S. military leader knows: Trump has LOST his war of choice with Iran. Sending 2,000 troops to the Middle East is laughable. If we won, why are we sending more troops? If we won--"unconditional surrender"--why is Iran is still firing off missiles, killing people and damaging critical energy infrastructure? Why is the Strait of Hormuz still closed? Do Israelis think we won? Iranians? It's flim-flam.
