t.me/whisperdirect/… whisper.direct users can talk to nostr users using Primal. Since whisper.direct uses NIP-44 for DM encryption whereas Primal uses the older NIP-04, we have added a small toggle switch on the left hand side menu of whisper.direct - this allows a user to send an NIP-04 message to a Primal nostr user. All incoming messages from Primal (even though they are NIP-04) are automatically detected. Try the new version

@osborne_sam @EddieRichard @callebtc but the beauty of nostr is that apps are interoperable. so you could be dm-ing from whisper.direct from one end and Primal from another

That can be initially confusing with Nostr as there are so many apps and ways of accessing it, which is very different to other socials where specific apps are how you access specific sites.
I use an app called Damus if that helps.
It can also be confusing first time accessing, because unless the app you choose gives you a great onboarding experience, it’s a quiet place.
