This decision has increased cruelty manifold times with huge surge in bestiality and other crimes. Children are taught by their parents to carry out cruelty against animals specially dogs and cats and if any animal retaliates to save itself, the Indian media cries dog menace with advocacy to cull dogs. This is systematically done first the adults beat dogs in front of their children and teach them cruelty. They back up their acts with AI generated videos of dog bites which is widely reported by the media.

A controversial plan to confine millions of stray dogs in large-scale 'mega shelters' has been branded a potential global public health disaster. The strategy, ordered by the Supreme Court of Indiain 2025, would see stray dogs across Delhi, home to more than 33 million people, rounded up and relocated into high-density facilities. Each shelter could house up to 5,000 animals,concentrating large populations of stressed and potentially diseased dogs in close quarters. More than 2,000 experts, including doctors, veterinarians and epidemiologists, have warned that the plan creates the 'perfect storm' for zoonotic outbreaks that could spread beyond national borders. India is estimated to have between 15 million and 60 million stray dogs, a population linked to ongoing rabies cases and public safety concerns. But scientists say removing these animals could backfire, as dogs currently act as a 'bio-buffer,' limiting the spread of disease-carrying wildlife such as rats.

This terrified puppy was dragged from the back of a rescue van by police and brought back to Ridglan Farms, despite a judicial order proving she was a victim of criminal abuse. At any moment, she could face torture or death in an illegal experiment or surgical procedure. The police actions were not just wrong. They were illegal. Even if she was “property” in a “theft,” she should not have been sent back to her abusers without a court order, as police are required to preserve “evidence of a crime.” We have some of the nation’s leading lawyers and law professors on our side, but without public pressure, that will not be enough.
