@geriwithetc @davetrott Agreed. The impact of a branding campaign is nebulous, even after the fact. Meanwhile, predictable and measurable data appeals to quarterly reporting, even for those not traded publicly. That doesn’t leave a lot of room for creative license.

Maybe @DaveTrott can chime in here, but IMHO, the distinct tasks of the ad and mktg depts have been confused forever––and to much harm. 'Data driven metrics' can maybe prove what the CEO wants to see, but it is often only confirmation bias. Real engagement is slow art- and tough to measure.

This is the litmus of ART: It is bigger than itself.

@Puddin8100 @cowboyvoice I use the Varsity Network app. Have used the KSPI app as well. It’s usually behind TV. I pause just after the ball is snapped on TV, then wait to hear Dave catch up. Save this for next year. I think it’s gonna be a fun season and you shouldn’t let TV commentators spoil it.
