St Cadocs Youth Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Chris Wilson as the club’s new First Team Manager. Chris joins the club from Dalry Thistle FC, where he built a strong reputation for organisation, player development, and creating competitive, disciplined teams. His experience in senior football, combined with a clear commitment to nurturing emerging talent, makes him an excellent fit for the next phase of St Cadocs’ development. With over 1,100 players across all age groups, St Cadocs is one of Scotland’s largest community football clubs. The First Team plays a vital role not only in competitive performance but also in providing a clear and aspirational pathway for players progressing through the club’s extensive youth structure. Chris brings: A strong track record in squad building and recruitment A clear footballing philosophy centred on work ethic and standards Experience integrating younger players into senior environments A collaborative leadership style aligned with community values Speaking on his appointment, Chris Wilson said: “I’m proud to be joining a club with the scale, ambition and community presence of St Cadocs. The opportunity to build a competitive First Team while creating a genuine pathway for young players is something I’m incredibly excited about. I’m looking forward to getting started and working with the players and everyone associated with the club” Ian Moir (Club Chair) added: “We were impressed by Chris’s vision, leadership qualities and clear understanding of how important sustainability, recruitment and youth progression are to our long-term success. This is an important appointment as we continue to grow both on and off the pitch, and we believe Chris is the right person to lead us into the next chapter.” The appointment comes at a key time for the club as it continues to strengthen the direction of its football operations and long-term strategic planning. Chris will begin work immediately, details of Chris’s backroom / coaching team will be announced in due course

‘Kirk make it 12 without defeat as we see off Darvel at Burnside Park. Ethan Brew with the only goal of the game on 18 mins. We passed up plenty of chances to extend our lead with Darvel’s keeper in fine form but we got over the line reasonably comfortably to keep the run going
