@theescapistspl1 AOSP Gallery will be fully replaced with a new Gallery app. It will be based on the project you linked but with the package name changed so people who already installed the upstream project won't have it replaced and it will still be possible to use the upstream project instead.

A lot of my daily work sits outside of code. GPT-5.5 in Codex is now much better at generating spreadsheets and slide decks. Quick example here of Codex generating a full Excel workbook.
