Since VP Sara already declared her intention to run for President in the 2028 elections, here's my wishlist for Vice President and senators to be in her slate: #Halalan2028

THANK YOU Senior Associate Justice Marivic M.V.F Leonen! He has requested the Marcos administration to SUBMIT to the Supreme Court PH ALL THE Statement of Allotment Release Order (SAROs) para sa Unprogrammed Appropriations (UA) with corresponding Certification of Excess Income from Bureau of Treasury. LAHAT NG MGA pondo na na release para sa UA! LAHAT ng SAROs. DETAILED copies. Sana ma release sa Public. Sa mga nagbabantay ng budget, naku this is a big win for TRANSPARENCY kasi matagal na natin itong hinahanap. But what we are really VERY CURIOUS about ay doon sa mga PONDONG galing sa PHILHEALTH, PDIC, GSIS, SSS–MAGKANO kaya ang napunta sa FLOOD CONTROL PROJECTS? LALO NA SA GHOST FLOOD CONTROL PROJECTS, if any? // Dare To Ask

I said that PRRD got an 85% approval rating during COVID. I was wrong. My PCOO colleagues corrected me. He got 91%- while approval ratings of leaders all over the world plummeted to single digits. ETO YUNG BAKIT PILIPINAS DUTERTE PA RIN. 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼 pulseasia.ph/duterte-gets-9… // Lorraine Baddie

Even 23% inside the pro marcos camp are still rooting for Duterte deep down. Meanwhile, the real Duterte base remains the biggest and most solid bloc. What a fragile position and weak foundation for the Marcos camp. Their own people aren't fully committed. If elections were held today, we'd have another Duterte in Malacañang!👊

3 in 10 Filipinos still identify as pro-Duterte. More Filipinos now say they're pro-Marcos (22%) and pro-Opposition (17%). A quarter of Filipino adults, significantly less now, still identify as independents. Data from @WR_Numero March 2026 national survey.

MEDIA BLACK-OUT! The oral arguments on the consolidated petitions questioning the constitutionality of the ballooning unprogrammed appropriations (UA) in the 2024, 2025 and 2026 GAAs of the Bongbong Marcos administration lasted nearly 6 hours before the Supreme Court PH earlier today. But there's not a single mention in the mainstream media of the incisive questioning made by Senior Associate Justice Marvic Leonen that peeled off the layers of glaring violations made by Congress and President Marcos in violating the key provisions of the 1987 Constitution regarding the exercise of the power of the purse that paved the way for massive corruption through insertions in the bicameral conference committee. Solicitor General Darlene Marie Berbarabe struggled throughout the first day of the oral arguments trying to defend the government's position that the practice of allocating a bigger budget to UA was a valid exercise to give the government flexibility in fulfilling development needs. Even though the coverage of the session before the En Banc session was audio only, it was easy to imagine SolGen Berberabe sweating under her judicial robes because of the surgical emasculation that Justice Leonen's interpellation had done to demolish her defense as counsel for the government. It did not help that the Amicus Curiae invited by the Supreme Court — former NEDA secretary and economist Solita Monsod, former Senate President Franklin Drilon, former DBM secretary Butch Abad and Monetary Board member Benjamin Diokno — uniformly expressed adverse views on the apparent excesses and abuse by Congress and President Marcos, Jr. The oral arguments turned out to be a lashing against the palpably illegal acts of Congress in ignoring fundamental fiscal discipline to ensure that public funds are efficiently utilized to contribute to national growth. The practice of unprogrammed appropriations is not illegal per se, but Congress took it to excess that it became the new pork barrel that allowed politicians to rape and plunder during the last three years. During the interrogation by Senior Associate Justice Leonen, it was also revealed that President Marcos was aware of what was happening every step of the way in the issuance of SAROs for the disbursement of funds for the pork barrel. President Marcos is primarily to be blamed for this mess. //Politics and More facebook.com/share/p/1Cncgv…
