its not really about replacing anyone, because finding the talent thats better than what you have is tough i dont even know if the chiefs can find a better RT, i doubt it offensive lineman are just hard to come by right now its ultimately going to come down to (imo) if simmons can stay healthy, and then if he can, how much can he develop 2 huge if that ifs and if they both dont work out in your favor, the team is gonna have problems protecting mahomes or fields or anyone else losing thuney last year really hurt the whole line went from above average to just bad
