@GuardiolaTweets Incredible stats! ⚡ Pep Guardiola has 40 official titles in just 15 years — only 9 away from Alex Ferguson’s 49. Truly redefining football history.

Pep Guardiola doesn’t know what his best 11 is. That’s clear. It’s also clear team selection isn’t based on merit, but nepotism. Hence why Gonzalez rots on the bench. Every weekend, changes, and we wonder why there is so much in consistency. I’m all for resting players and player rotation, but not every week. You don’t change your defenders every week. Its ridiculous. How can you build solid partnerships? Saliba and Gabriel play every weekend. That’s why they’re the best. I thank him for what he has achieved at the football club, but he should make sure this season is his last. I’m done with him.

I don’t understand Pep’s thinking here. Why drop Aït-Nouri? What’s the point, especially when we could easily play O’Reilly next to Rodri? Did he not watch O’Reilly get rinsed at LB in Madrid? When will he learn from his mistakes? We better win, or I’m expecting him to hand in his resignation letter tonight.

The same overthinking that everyone criticised Pep for against Madrid is what won City the final today against Arsenal. Nico O’Reilly’s left back performance and the brace. It’s the same brain making decisions with the same frameworks and processes. Results-based conclusions miss the point because variables come into play. Pep is second to none for me when it comes down to the process.

4 - Pep Guardiola has lost both legs of a UEFA Champions League knockout stage tie for the fourth time, with three of those coming against Real Madrid (2013-14, 2024-25 and 2025-26). Rarity.
