@anandmahindra @drharshvardhan @narendramodi I too fully agree with this. Those who can afford may be requested to pay for themselves and perhaps voluntarily contribute for a few additional doses for those who cannot afford.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I am happy to pay & not be subsidised. In fact, the affluent should pay extra to help subsidise those who need that support. @drharshvardhan @narendramodi

Health minister Harsh Vardhan’s promise to provide the Covid vaccine free for all is generous. But, given the scale of the challenge & costs it will be pragmatic to let those who want/can afford, to pay. It’s fair too. A bit like the ‘give it up’ campaign on subsidized LPG..
