At 25, I thought $100k invested would change my life.
At 30, I crossed $1M.
Now my target is $1.5M invested by age 35.
I'm a Canadian dad with 2 young kids, a mortgage, and a full-time corporate job.

@HRinvests Stay where you’re at with cheap rent and keep shoveling money into the market hand over fist - the more you can keep your expenses down and investments up when you’re young, the better

I’m 22, built a 6-figure portfolio while working as a server, and I’m starting to think seriously about moving out on my own.

Exactly one year ago today, my portfolio was worth $40,068.95. Today it’s worth $145,118.97. That’s a gain of $105,050 and a 262% increase in just one year. No shortcuts. Just working doubles, living below my means, and consistently investing every week. Still a long way to go. 📈

@XCompoundQuiet That’s the dilemma. Moving out sounds great, but it’s tough giving up the ability to invest thousands more each year while living at home.

@ibuycompounders That’s great advice living alone sounds peaceful, but I could definitely see it getting lonely if you don’t stay connected with friends and family
