Watching this it suddenly occurred to me that none of us actually know the bottom line effect the every day thievery is having on our own pockets.
Wish an economist would take an average week and work out the extras a normal person pays in prices increased to accommodate loss.
Every stolen Greggs sandwich, every Tesco pilfered block of cheese, every fare increased to cover dodgers.

If you buy a new or used car from a dealership, you definitely should have a mechanic from a different dealership check for a GPS tracker. In the fine print in many car sales now, there is an agreement that lets them sell you vehicle's tracking information to a 3rd party.
When I bought my wife her current car, it had one installed under the hood. First thing I did when I got home was unplug it and throw it in the trash.
We have never take the car back to that dealer for service because of it.
