We had a writing meeting yesterday. Cooking up a lot of new stuff. Potential new show(s) for #edfringe 2024. Yikes my bank hasn't recovered yet, but will my soul recover if we DONT return?

Working on finding a place to crash in NYC so I can go support friends made during #edfringe this October. Been loving seeing so much brilliant art. Dont want to stop.

Got so busy with life at home I never mentioned how much I was inspired by @jmjeffries2 Braingystics show at Fringe. It was perfectly weird, hilarious, committed to the bit. Everything I love about comedy.

@Midlife50Ways @outofhandprint I will see about disputing with my credit card company. Small claims seems like a major hassle. The Fringe artist services said they were going to try to help but I haven't heard back. Just overall another burden on self funded artists at #edfringe

@HowToEatABear @outofhandprint Wow! Did you pay on credit card? May be able to challenge it there. Alternatively, albeit it's a hassle from overseas, there's a small claims court system here.

Wild to me that @outofhandprint never put up 3 of our ads we paid for during #edfringe and they refuse to respond appropriately/do anything to reimburse the cost for unfulfilled work. Sucks they are really the only option for advertising there otherwise I'd say to steer clear.

Who else ended a month long run of #edfringe exhausted, ready to fly home to family, only to be hit by this air traffic control shut down? Don't mind me just silently weeping in the corner.

@brianjaffa My unfiltered opinions tend to be harsh, but honest. I will likely offend or piss off some people in the industry around Fringe with these thoughts is my only hesitation.

@Midlife50Ways Unless we get funding, not likely. Our sets are hard to travel with, so we threw everything away, and I self produced this so it was a huge financial burden. Would be awesome to, but money is a big barrier.

@HowToEatABear That's a shame. I'm glad you're glad for the audiences you had. And hopefully you're proud of what you created. Will you look to keep the show going?

Welp. Saddest ending possible for our #edfringe run as we are having to cancel due to no sales. Really hoped an audience would come through and show us some love for our final performance, but instead we will head to the theatre to pack our things. Much love to all that came.

That's a wrap on #edfringe for us, we had one hell of a time here and we are so thankful for all the incredibly kind words and feedback we got on our show. Thanks to all who came to see us

@HowToEatABear You did a marvellous thing, putting on a show in the greatest show on earth #edfringe You believed in yourselves and your show, you achieved. Be proud of yourselves, you’ve been part of an amazing festival. You’ve learned, grown and you are not the same as when you arrived.

Canceling our final show ended up allowing us to play around in the space and all play different roles for fun. Haven't laughed this hard all #edfringe Love this show and this cast

2.5 hours to show and still no sales for our last show at #edfringe It's as if Scotland has quite firmly told us to go back to America. Holding on to hope but man what a depressing ending to an amazing time.

Looks like a potentially very sad end to #edfringe for us. 0 tickets sold for our final show tonight. Cannot really imagine a more deflating feeling to go home with.
